i got it , but what i just want to know that whether my application will work
fine on the actual palm pilot machine
i.e. will the database be stored permanently even if the user switch offs the
device

Right click on POSE, go to Properties, under closing/quitting, check the
radio button with "Ask to save session" click on "OK" button..., you are
done. ;-)

using codewarrior lite and checking it with pose it works fine
but when i close the pose(palm emulator) the data is lost , is it that pose
dosen't stores database permanently , or we have to do someting with the
