Im using. Code Warrior R6 for Palm Programming. Check out there site for a
lite version. The full package is worth the investment. You can then get the
latest Patchs and upgrades from the Palm site.
Join the Palm developer programme to get the most widely used Roms. Its a
bit of a pain because you have to sign a few forms and snail mail them, but
its worth the effort. Down load POSE to test and debug your applications.
CW and the Pose emulator work hand in hand and IMHO is the easy option your
looking for.
The Palm site also has a few online tutorials. Ive gone through "Palm
Programming The Authoitative Solution" book. You just have to Knuckle down
to it. (Note ive never done C programming before and its a sinch.)
Whatch out for tutorials written for the PalmOS 3.0 if you use the latest
PalmOS (3.5). You'll need to change a few headers and Function Names.
