  Thanks!  I used Chip's solution but I'm sure Pietro's would have
worked also.  I turned off just the "create record" permission.  I
want them to be able to delete and modify records.  I'm just not
used to the interface yet.  It was very obvious.  Maybe too obvious  ;)

  Thanks to those with other platform solutions.  I looked at AppForge.
I signed up for the BETA program but was at the very end of the
program AND as someone else mentioned they don't support the
Symbol barcode capabilities yet.  That is critical since this is for a
Symbol 1700.
  I also wanted to try NS-Basic but couldn't get a commitment on
when support for the 1700 would be available.  I couldn't wait any
longer so chose Satellite Forms.
