Hi,
I'm sending AT commands to a modem via the serial library
and a case-sensitivity issue in testing the responses has led me
down a nasty trail trying to find a caseless StrStr. I ended up
last night accepting that the true Palm path seemed to be
TxtGlue and the strange TxtGluePrepString and TxtFindString.
This morning I'm wondering whether using wide character strings
is going to alter what's sent to the modem and, if so, whether
it's even valid to use the multi-byte support to test the data
returning from the modem since it's likely to be standard single
byte ASCII.
Which means I'm back to writing my own caseless StrStr for
use on the modem data, but possibly not for use on strings created
by PalmOS.
Any comment from those more experienced in this area?
