When the Palm VII first came out, you could detect if you were running on it by looking for the Clipper or iMessenger apps, or by checking for inetLibFtrCreator, as documented in the SDK. The 4.0 SDK still says, "The Internet library is available only on version 3.2 or later of the Palm OS on Palm VII devices," but now it's part of the Mobile Internet Kit which can be installed on non-wireless Palms. My question is: is there any remaining way to detect that you are running on a device that can do wireless Internet? If you look for the device's Palm.net radio ID using INetLibSettingGet and come up with a non-zero ID, will that always mean you are running on a VII, and if it's 0 does it always mean you are on a non-wireless device? (except that POSE reports radio ID of 0 when emulating a VII, but I can deal with that). Thanks to anyone who can help!
