I had the same problem a while back and posted here, but never got any
information. It seems like it depended on how many dynamic UI elements were
added...once you passed a certain number, the button texts would get hosed.
I ended up just creating everything at design time, and hiding and showing,
but with all the talk about structure access being unsupported, I'll have to
switch back to dynamically creating (since I need to change fonts.)

Subject: why are my button labels getting trashed?
Greetings,
I was just wondering why my button captions are getting trashed? I am
using CW5 w support for palm os 3.0.
When I run my app on a palm with 3.5 (and only 3.5...3.3 works fine.) my
button labels get strange characters mixed in with them. The problem is
intermitent.
My resources are being generated through pilrc 2.3.
I don't know if its related, but I am using some of the dynamic ui calls to
create a couple of buttons and form bitmaps. I would be greatful for any
help.
Thanks,
Steve Austin
