Your suggestion to have the creator id's match on the DB and application
got rid of the problem of having the DB's show up in the list of installed
programs!
The subject of whether or not to have a database consist of records of
all the same type is (of course) much more nebulous. I kind of like it
as an organizing principle.... and I guess I'll go with it until it gets too
convoluted or if performance problems crop up.
