Debugging with GCC toolchain in Windows

Hi All.  I've been fumbling around programming with the GCC tools in windows
for a while. I tried a couple times to figure out what sort of debugging
tools were available but never successfully. I currently use WinDrawChars as
my debugging tool.  Could someone direct me to something a little more
sophisticated (and free) if possible? Thanks. -Tony
