We often try to write old versions of functions in terms of new versions in
order to save ROM space. But this does mean that there's the potential to
change the old version's behavior accidentally, or even intentionally in
some innocuous way. Hopefully, the latter is what happened here. If it turns
out we broke DmFindSortPositionV10, please let us know though. :)
I don't think there's anything wrong with documenting the change, but if
both implementations conform to the same "spec", it doesn't seem necessary.
What would the docs say? "Changed in Palm OS 4.0, but should perform as
before"? I suppose we could indicate that the performance was improved in
certain cases.
