Internet Connectivity using NetLib

Hello group,

Is it practicable to connect to a Internet site using NetLib without going
through
Palm.net proxy server ?

I am coding in CW using C.

Basically i would be doing some socket programming i suppose.

Please provide me with some useful direction.
