hi If I need to actively push some information to the Palm PDA device wirelessly from my server, is it possible to do this? I assume that the Palm user is currently has my Palm app launched. My understanding till now was that each wireless communication must be initiated from the Palm device. While initiating such a request the Palm device creates a socket and sends a wireless request to the server through this socket. The server responds to the request through the same socket. Please correct me if I am wrong. But if I am not wrong, then I don't see how the server can send some wireless data to the PDA device without the device initiating a request. I have been stuck up with this since a long time. Your help is highly needed and will be duly appreciated!
