Programming Kyocera phone

I am trying to target the Kyocera SmartPhone, which is running PalmOS
3.5.1. 

* How do I get the keycodes generated by moving the jog-dial up and
down? Are they the same as for the Sony jog dial?
* Is there any way to get the press-in of the jog dial? It seems to
bring up a special telephone overlay on the menu area.
