If you're a Sony or a Handspring, you might actually create threads, and in
that case, of course, you need to worry about concurrency control. Also,
HotSync uses a separate thread to do the actual work of HotSyncing, and I
believe that means conduits can invoke code on the device that runs in
another thread. This is way outside my area of expertise, so I may be wrong
on this. My point was more on the abstract way of thinking about how the
Palm works than about specifics.
