In my app I use the NetLibs to send and receive data extensively. I am using the Berkeley Socket macro functions for the socket I/O. I have the timeout value set to -1 (infinite timeout). I have noticed that on the Handspring Visor using a Xircom wireless ethernet card (and only the Visor...no other device is showing this behavior) I occasionally get a netErrTimeout. How is this possible? After receiving the error, my app is pretty much in a hosed state as no network I/O succeeds. All is back to normal if I exit the app and start it up again (w/o resetting the device). I know that Handspring has modified the OS slightly and was wondering if any of those modifications may be causing this behavior. Does anyone have any ideas?
