Question on CtlGetLabel()

Hi,

According to the Palm OS API Reference documentation, CtlGetLabel() does
not return the text from the label, for example, from a Selector Trigger
control, if the label was set from CtlSetLabel().  Then what is this API
function really for?  And how can I save the label text to the database?
