Ajit, I can't think of any differences between Poser 3.1 and 3.2 that would cause you problems. However, both of those versions are so old that I don't remember much about either of them off the top of my head. :-) You'd be better off with the current version.
Also, when reporting problems, it helps to describe the actual problem. :-) Saying that "the application does not behave properly" and that it "fails to run as intended" doesn't give anyone enough information to help you. I mean, if I were to post that "Poser 3.1 doesn't behave properly", that doesn't really tell you anything useful, does it?
