I am relatively new to Palm development, so I apologize in advance if I have missed something obvious, but I have not found an answer in the documentation yet.
I am writing an app that will have some of the same functionality as the default applications of mail, address and so on. I know the user can remap the buttons on the bottom of the palm (Date Book, Address Book, To To List, Memo) I want to do this programaticly during the install, and possibly from with my app. I assume there is a way to do this. A related problem I am having is deciding how my apps should appear in the Palm launcher / desktop. I considering breaking my app into smaller apps to keep the size down, but would like to have only one icon for the user to tap. Then as the user chooses to use certain functionality have that app execute. Any ideas on how to best accomplish this would be appreciated.
