...except that PalmOS versions >4.x use an md5 hash to store the
password on the Palm device itself, in a 16-byte blob. md5 is not
reversable, so those same password applications won't work anymore.
There are alternatives, similar to the way desktops and laptops
encrypt the data when the OS itself doesn't provide that layer of security
with hardware add-ons.
