The Sony is nice, but you'll also need to get a serial cable or cradle for debugging to the device, since Sony has not released USB drivers that support debugging. I really like the Visor Prism, since it has nice color, USB debugging, expandability, and rechargeable batteries, but it is stuck with Palm OS 3.5. You can find those refurb'd at Fry's Electronics for $200, making it a nice bargain. By debugging over USB, you can debug code that uses the IR port, since you don't have a resource conflict. I'm also partial to my new Sony CLIE PEG-T615C... 16MB, memory stick, 320x320 screen, and a thin design.
