Christy, 1) it sounds like you should probably give the table the maximum number of rows that will ever show on the screen, and set them to not usable at run time if you don't need them
2) and 3) If the text isn't editable, I think you would be better off just using a customTableItem for the text cells. Then you can draw whatever you want in each cell dynamically in the callback routine that you specify with TblSetCustomDrawProcedure().
