Hi,

I never tried that on Mac, but I guess it's the same you do in Win. If you
are trying to debug the conduit side, you will need the debugger from the
tool used to compile the conduit itself. On MS VC++, you set the executable
for the debugging session to HotSync.exe, set the breakpoints accordingly,
and then start the sync (either using the mulator or the Palm itself).

HIH,
Sebastian

  | Subject: How can I debug my conduit ?
  |
  |
  | Hi Everybody,
  | first of all a very good 2003 to everybody....
  |
  | I apologize you for my last message partially incorrect.
  |
  | I'm trying to debug a CONDUIT AND NOT A PALM APPLICATION....but nothing!
  |
  | This is my configuration:
  |
  | Macintosh G4
  | Mac OS X ver. 10.2.2
  | Code Warrior for Mac OS, Ver. 8.0
  | Code Warrior IDE Version 5.0
  | Palm CDK Vers. 4.03
  | Sample Conduit "Generic Conduit"
  |
  | I have two devices at my disposal:
  | Palm Device Zire connect with USB port
  | Palm IIIC with the Keyspan USB PDA Adapter
  |
  | I have to use USB port because I cannot use any other type of connection
  | between my devices and my G4
  |
  | Can I use this type of configuration or I have to use an Emulator (or
  | Simulator) ?
  |
  | Help me please ?
  |
  | Have e great year again to all!!!
  |
  | Gianni
