I would like to be able to take samples of the audio detected by the mic on the Tungsten T and perform some processing on the sound. I would then like to store both the sound and the statistics on a memory card.
Obviously, this involves a great deal of DETAILS and I have already implemented most of it using stored files (not real-time sampled). So here are my questions. 1) Is there more documentation on sampling the sounds on the mic other than what's covered in the API reference? Any source code samples I can look at? 2) Is there anyway to write code for the TI DSP in the OMAP? 3) Has anyone implemented any DSP function on the ARM that could give me a measure of the performance.
