Actually, now that it's morning, I realize I didn't ask the question with
enough detail.  Sorry.  But thanks.  The program you are talking about is
from Kerio Technologies, the product is WinRouteLite.  So here is what I
really want to do.

For all PalmOS 3.1 thru 4.X (or 3.5 to 4.X) [Yes, I'm ignoring os5] I need
to be able to create [at each customer site] a TCP connection between a
custom app on the Palm and a custom server app on the Windows computer that
the cradle is connected to.  I don't want to require the customer to have
any special hardware, they should be able to use the standard serial or USB
cradle, but if they have other connectivity, I would like to use it the same
way too.
