Yeh, that would be easy. Unfortunately, even on most ARM devices the code causes a tiny but noticeable slowdown. Except on the T3, the UX50, and presumably future devices. Best idea I've got now is to run some speed tests and time it when the app is first installed. Or write a PNO. bleh.
