How can we detect whether the screen is on or not on a
non-Handspring device. Somebody once recommended to
me using a "Hardware Utilities" library, but I cannot
find this anywhere.

HardwareUtils.h
A header file which is used for various hardware functions such as: ·Turning the screen on/off ·Blink the LED ·Set the Blink-rate of the LED ·Get the current state of the display. Keywords: hardwareutils.h, hardware, LED, blink, screen, display
but it works only for palm/palmOne devices
