The Palm APIs does not support formatting of floating point numbers to strings. You will have to write your own code to do so. However, plenty of developers (myself included) had the same issues early on. A search of past posts will get you several examples you could use. There are also a few posted around the web. http://tangentsoft.net/palmfaq/articles/float.html is just one.
