Thanks, actually PNO (their speed) is my primary interest, but I can afford
to wait for 9.3.

The ARM compiler is based on our CW for ARM Embedded 2.0 release, which has much better optimizations and testing than the one we shipped in 9.0/9.1. Most of the bugs in 9.2 weren't pure compiler issues, but a problem with the integration of the Palm OS-oriented runtime library and the compiler; the major issue was me not upgrading the math library properly. Most of the work on the ARM compiler since the 9.2 release has been optimization improvements, fixing linker issues with debug information, and providing better support for function pointers and relocations in the data section.
