How to detect if a certain app is launched. I want to be able to detect from a sound callback (SndStreamCreate) that is running in the background, if someone launched a particular application. Any ideas?
There is a system notification, sysNotifyAppLaunchingEvent, for which your application can register that tells it the identify of every app that is launched on the system, sent just before the launch takes place. See NotifyMgr.h for details, along with the Notification chapter of the Palm OS Reference.
