the problem isn�t with OS 5.x. The problem is with OMAP processor from TEXAS
that don�t work. If you use OS 5.x with other processor (tungsten T.) the
old virtual drivers will gonna work fine!

Are you sure?  OS 5 runs in emulation so it supports virtual drivers.  I use
them on my Tungsten T.

Not sure if you saw my earlier post but just to be sure, virtual serial
drivers don't exist in OS 5 and higher.
