What devices do you have? Palm OS 3.5 and 5.x can beam to each other; I do
that all the time. However, there are hardware issues that make IR between
some pairs of devices unreliable. For example, all of my PalmOne devices
can talk to each other fairly well, but I have issues with my Sony CLIE
PEG-TH55 beaming to non-Sony devices.
