Hanging at logo on soft reset. HELP!

The app we're working on requires a soft reset after install. However 
when, it gets to the logo, the device hangs, and thus forces a hard 
reset. We can install and run the app through the debugger, but after we 
 kill the debugging session, it resets and then hangs. If anyone can 
suggest anything that might help me solve this, that would be much 
appreciated.

This is on a treo 600. We're using codewarrior 9.
