I appologize to those who have already seen this message in the communication forum. I noticed that this forum appears to have a significant number of Treo600 messages so I thought I would repeat my question here.
I would like to know whether or not it is possible to connect directly with a host PC's modem using a Treo 600. I have done this successfully on other Palm devices (like the Visor using a Handspring modem). My first attempt was to use SrmOpen(hsSerPortHotSyncModem ,BaudRate,&gPortID) but that wasn't very successful. After going through the TreoDeveloperguide.pdf document, I did not find anything that stood out as the solution to my problem. Has anyone successfully connected to a PC modem using the Treo600?
