The CDT tutorial isn't for Palm OS development -- it's part of the C/C++ Development Kit, but we ship a modified CDT that's designed for Palm OS work, and there's no guarantee that plain CDT stuff will work.
You'd be better off just creating a new 68K Managed Make project and reading through the Palm OS specific documentation.
