Hi, you could try them both. I know for sure, Pocket Tunes and Aero 
Player have equializers and bass boost. I don't know, if they have 
key-protection, but they can switch off the screen and you can switch to 
a different application. If you have a standard key-locking on your 
device, you should have it still with the player playing in the background.
