We'll need a bit more information about what's troubling you. What errors
are you getting?, what API calls are you using that do not act as you
thought they would? The photos are fairly straightforward database files (as
such things go;-)) and the API has always worked as advertised for me.
(although it crashes the Zire72 Simulator - it runs fine on a real device -
I've posted this incident here to no response, so I guess it's just me.) 

One warning - there are differences in devices' reactions to the API's, the
Zire 71 in particular is a bit of an oddball, as are some of the Tungsten
series - you must check what device you are running on before doing much of
anything. Be glad you can choose to ignore the Sony devices if you want to
(though there are plenty in existence, if you're in the shrink-wrapped
market), as they use an entirely different API.
