I had similar experience, The commercial XML library I once purchased had
the same limit of 64K while the xml files changed frequently and the they
were too large [in megabytes....]. Ultimately I ended up with a same
solution of dividing the xml file in arbitrary chunks and storing them in
database. I wrote my own XML parser that could take this database as input
and parse it. [Thanks expat for a basic Idea]. I solution works perfectly.
