Have you tried deleting the file C:\Palm\SimSlotDriverVolume? That should be basically equivalent to a hard reset.

Yes it does thanks.
But do you agree that one would expect a hard reset to flush that file?
But it wouldn't be the correct behaviour of the T5, maybe?
