I have run into a strange behavior of a auto-shift field in the Treo 650 (such as the memopad).
Typing a '?' and then a spacebar, the auto-shift will happen, but then after a while (1-2 seconds) without typing anything, the shift state will be turned off automatically. Why is that?
Is it a bug of the Treo 650?
Do you have a keyboard driver installed on your device? I've seen that kind of behavior with external keyboard drivers, since they want to control the shift state themselves.
