You'd be suprised how far back Notifications go. There are many useful
ones available from PalmOS 3.5 on - the documentation, in this
instance, fully describes each notification and when it became
available. RTFM, YMMV, etc.
And the VFS stuff was implemented after the notification set, so the
"exactly the same" comment should be literally true. If you look at the
"Compatibility guide" part of the docs, you'll see the "notification
feature set" sandwiched between OS3.5 and OS4. Bob.
