Yeah, I did look at it too. But it sends records or categories - not whole databases. I doesn't use this ExgGetDefaultApplication thingy, either.
Besides, one of the things I want to do is register to receive PRC files - so that I can scan them. Should I do anything else besides receiving them? Set a category in the Launcher (how)? Run them with the sysAppLaunchCmdSyncNotify launch code? Anything else?
For whole DBs, the application Filez is available as open source and handles beaming and receiving of complete DBs. See http://sourceforge.net/projects/nosleepsoftware/
