You asked for MD5 ... and MD5 always generates a 128 bit digest.
You can find some reference implementations of RSA256 if you google for it. Not very difficult to implement.
Try this one maybe: http://freshmeat.net/projects/sha2/
The only (free) cryptographic lib I know for PalmOS is the AESLib, but I doubt that AES could be used to create a secure digest.
