You also have two other options.

1. Use a utility such as NutShell (like Installi-Shield for PC) that will
create a self contained installer that you can package many files including
datebook entries (registration reminders :) and address book records (for
who to bug when there is a bug :). I have demo-ed NutShell and I like the
Fact that you can create the installer right on a Palm.

2. PalmSource Installer. A little more complex then something like NutShell,
but it works for multi-configurations (like games and so on). It also
provides compression (looks like it compressed my 500k wap browser, 25k
script library, 50k JPEG lib and about 50K of misc. channel files into what
appears to be a 250k file :). Check it out, along with a demo at:
http://www.palmsource.com/installer/.

I am working with an older version of PSI and I seem to like it. I am going
to try version 1.5 soon as that seems to add a lot. I have already seen it
in action on PalmGear and I am impressed. I also like the fact that you can
set a link on a web site to point to the psi package and download and
install it right on the device.

Hey all,
Obviously as you have seen from my past posts I am quite new to this
palm programming. I have seen various past posts regarding the pnoJpeg
library. So I have a couple question regarding this library.

First off, using it: Would I be correct to say to use it I include the
header files in my code, then use the functions in my code and have
the library installed on the palm to have it work accordingly.

Then the second question would be, if the above is correct, is: Is
there I way I can package it with my already existing code so the
users don't have to install it themselves.

Thanks,
Landon Cunningham

First: yes
Second: search the archive, some month ago there was a fine example how
to pack a prc file into another prc file and extract it on the device.
