On a Treo 650, when the SndStreamCreate sampleRate parameter is set to 8000 , the device seems to act as if the sample rate is actually around 7957 samples per second. Could this be a big anomaly on just this one specific GSM Treo 650 I was testing? Or could there be a model specific sampling frequency offset on all Treo 650's at this requested sample rate?
