Hello,

We just released our latest Palm game "Deluxe Texas Hold'em"
(www.bapsoft.com). This game works perfectly on all PalmSims including
the release/debug versions for the Treo650. However, if you try our game
on an actual Treo650 device, when you press the "Fold" button during the
game, it causes the device to reset.

How you know that? just one customer reported? be careful maybe is an interference of another program or hack.

If a lot of users/ beta testers are reporting this or you could see it by your self is the case you can assume as a fault.

Any idea why the PalmSim would behave differently than the actual device?

They are different, but our case I have never got this experience before: We develop game that has a lot of animations and we push memory and processor at most and every bug and behavior that occurs on simulator occurs the same on devices and vice versa.. but this is not a rule as you can see.

How is it possible to debug this problem when it only occurs on the actual
Treo650 device?

Do You have a treo 650? If you do not have try to borrow one for this test so you can try to simulate it and debug on device as treo accept usb debugging.

Here in Brazil, PalmOne of Brazil guys kindly offered once a Treo 650 for a week to test our game on device (and that time Treo 650 was even not a commercial phone here in Brazil). I don't know works there in USA. But you can also try a friend.

Thanks for your help,
-Bobby
