I wasn't aware of that. But speaking fo which, is there realy a SD barcode
scanner with actually works ok? I anxiously awaited the release of the Socket
SDIO scanner but was grossly disappointed in its performance, or shall I say
lack thereof. It seemed unsable for anything but casual scanning under ideal
conditions.
Yes the Socket SDIO barcode reader is definitely for low volume
scanning of good quality barcodes of average size in good light.
However their CHS BT laser barcode scanner seems to have much better
potential. It uses a laser barcode reader, so you get far better
scanning functionality. It appears, finally, to be a viable BT-based
barcode reader! And it works with the Treo650.
