i know, if i call the camera app from the multimedia panel itself, the camera
works great. But if i call the camera from the app that i built, the rate is
much slower. how do you think i resolve it?

I believe even Palm wouldn't be that stupid to release the camera recorder
with such slow rate as it is if the hardware wouldn't the major bottleneck.
Of course, there's a chance you can get (a bit?) better results by
rewritting camera "drivers" and all lowlevel code, as there's rather
always room for improvement comparing to some built-in Palm code, but I
rather doubt that's what you've been looking for.

I am calling the built in camera app from my application. But when i recorded a
video, i noticed that the frame rate is much slower. how do i increase it.
i am using CW for palm and my unit is Treo650.
