A couple of issues - for me at any rate! - with the 0.9x series
When downloading headers I see a message:
big.group.name (2)
whereas - at least in cvs - it used to say
big.group.name nn parts mm articles
I assume the '2' is the number of newsservers but it is IMHO less useful
information than the running total of download progress

I'm still finding I'm getting unsubscribed from one group - which is held
by only one of the two newsservers I've set up - the replicable sequence is
while (true) {
- start pan, group no longer in subscribed list, subscribe to the group , exit
- start pan, group is in subscribed list, exit
}
