It's the weekend again, and time for another release of Pan!
This week brings us the ability to rearrange and/or hide columns
in the header pane, some big speedups in startup and in the panes,
and fixes more than a few nasty bugs. As usual, the changelog and
source code can be found at http://pan.rebelbase.com/ .

If you've been holding off on the Pan rewrite, this might be a
good time to give it a try. The bug reports have been shrinking
over the last few weeks, so either it's getting less buggy, or
we need more testers, or both. :)

hi,
just a minor thing i noticed (not new in 0.97):
when you get a '482 Authentication Rejected' from the server, pan
doesnt recognize this, so it would be nice if you could add some kind
of error-message to the eventlog, telling the user that the connection
attempt failed.
also it would be nice if the sorting order of the eventlog could be
saved within a pan session, so i dont have to doubleclick date every
time i open it ;)

thanks,
ulrich
