Did just that, d/l the RPM and installed OK.
When opening Pan, I defined the news server (triple checked that info
correct - same as Pan under SuSE), but I keep getting the same NoGo result.
From the Event Log:
(1) "Pan started"
(2) "Error opening file /home/maurice/.pan2/newsgroups.ynm" -
No such file or directory"
(3) "Error: 502 Authentication error"
As I have no newsgroup list I tried to get Pan to d/l it from the server by
selecting 'Refresh NewsGroups' (could see no other option to get the
initialising list).
Seems 2 problems: Missing file, can't access server. Connected?
Help....
