I ran these tests on different nodes. Each node is dual quad core, and has 32GB RAM Each ddr filter coarse takes 4GB RAM They're not running one-by-one -- 4*(num processes) GB is used per node
Results: 1 uvcRR file: 40mins 2 uvcRR files, with no shared neighbours: 43mins 3 uvcRR files, with no shared neighbours: 1hr 45m 4 uvcRR files, with no shared neighbours: 5hr 23m 5 uvcRR files, with no shared neighbours: 7hr 13m 6 uvcRR files, with no shared neighbours: 7hr 40m Since these runs were all using the same files (+a new pair) I used the time it took for zen.2456664.17380.xx.uvcRRE to finish each time (all the runs shared this file). But there is some variety in finish times. We started at (14:26) For 3 files: > 2015-03-03 17:09:12.000000000 -0500 > 2015-03-03 17:05:24.000000000 -0500 > 2015-03-03 16:57:45.000000000 -0500 For 4 files: > 2015-03-03 19:43:30.000000000 -0500 > 2015-03-03 19:45:04.000000000 -0500 > 2015-03-03 19:54:27.000000000 -0500 > 2015-03-03 19:49:30.000000000 -0500 For 5 files: > 2015-03-03 21:39:45.000000000 -0500 > 2015-03-03 21:41:55.000000000 -0500 > 2015-03-03 21:42:38.000000000 -0500 > 2015-03-03 22:05:09.000000000 -0500 > 2015-03-03 21:53:43.000000000 -0500 For 6 files: > 2015-03-03 22:01:04.000000000 -0500 > 2015-03-03 20:40:00.000000000 -0500 > 2015-03-03 21:55:58.000000000 -0500 > 2015-03-03 21:23:11.000000000 -0500 > 2015-03-03 21:01:51.000000000 -0500 > 2015-03-03 21:15:21.000000000 -0500
